An incoming traveller from mainland France was detected positive, today, while performing the routine test before being released from a requisitioned hotel in Nouméa after its mandatory fortnight quarantine.
This individual is the 30th case since March, 18, and tested negative when leaving Paris.
The patient was immediately taken to the Covid-19 unit at the Médipôle where an other Covid+ patient is currently hospitalized.
