Christian Tein, head of the Cellule de coordination des actions de terrain, will be transferred to Mulhouse prison in the Grand Est region of mainland France. Christian Tein is the leader of the CCAT, the organization considered to be the instigator of the riots that have destroyed hundreds of businesses in Nouméa over the past month;Frédérique Muliava, director of the cabinet of Congress President Roch Wamytan, will also be incarcerated in mainland France, at Riom prison in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Brenda Wanabo-Ipeze, the CCAT’s communications officer, will be held on remand in Dijon prison, in the Burgundy region. Guillaume Vama will be held at the Bourges prison in central France.
