Deaths from covid are becoming increasingly rare. The total number of deaths since 9 September is 280. 22 new positive cases have been confirmed. These new cases bring the total number of confirmed positive cases to 12,343 since Monday 6 September. The cumulative incidence rate over 7 days is 49 per 100,000 inhabitants. Only 8 patients are being treated in the intensive care unit and 3 patients are being monitored in a hotel in the South Province. 11,841 people are considered cured.
Vaccination continues
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 181,682 people have received at least one dose, i.e. 78.51% of the vaccinated population and 67.04% of the total population. 171,685 people have received two doses of vaccine. At this stage, 74.19% of the vaccinated population, or 63.35% of the total population, have received a complete vaccination schedule.
