They had invested in apartments in Thailand. The company’s boss, Norwegian Kurt Svendheim, fled with billions of Pacific francs without delivering the apartments…
Some families lost all their savings. The scandal was revealed in 2020. This huge real estate project in the south of Bangkok involved the construction of 5,500 apartments. The site was classified as a nature reserve and the developer had not obtained the necessary building permits.
After several years of investigation, there is a good chance that victims will receive compensation in 2025.
