Wallis and Futuna voted on Sunday 12 June to elect their MP. This one will represent the archipelago at the National Assembly in Paris. None of the seven candidates was elected in the first round. There will therefore be a second round. It will oppose Mikaele Seo and Etuato Mulikiha’amea.
Mikaele Seo came first with 16.91% of the votes. Etuato Mulikiha’amea got 14.55%. Both candidates declare themselves close to the presidential majority. They will therefore support President Emmanuel Macron who was elected last April for a second term. The second round will take place on Sunday 19 June.
