Trump and first lady Melania tested positive for the coronavirus

President Trump announced in a tweet on Friday, October 2, that he and the first lady Melania have tested positive for the coronavirus.

“We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately”, he wrote. “We will get through this TOGETHER!”

Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!

The news came after Hope Hicks, one of Trump’s most senior advisers, flew with Trump on Air Force One several times this week and had tested positive.

Riots: curfew until July 1
The curfew is maintained in New Caledonia for a further week, from 8 pm to 6 am. Carrying and transporting weapons remains prohibited. The sale of alcohol also remains prohibited, except for wine merchants, who may only sell wine or champagne-type beverages with an alcohol content not exceeding 18%. Beer sales are still not permitted.
